Hamlin Municipal Development District

The MDD, in partnership with the City of Hamlin, is focused on economic growth, job creation, and improving the lives of the citizens of Hamlin.

There are many underlying Quality of Life factors that influence these areas. Some of these issues are:

  • Engaged citizens working together to improve the community

  • Affordable housing

  • A sound infrastructure (roads, utilities, etc.)

  • Diverse and varied amenities, such as high-quality educational opportunities, broadband access, health and wellness, parks, and literacy

MDD Agendas & Minutes

The MDD Board members are appointed by the mayor and serve 3-year terms. Our current board is comprised of: President-Amanda Spalding, VP-Ronald Crouch, Secretary-Tina Aldape, Members-Dan Byerly and Billy Bob Reynolds. The Board meets monthly at the City Hall.
